Conec offers circular connectors in the sizes M8, M12, 7/8″ and Round24. The Conec M8 and M12 connectors are available as overmoulded connectors, field attachable connectors and sockets. Part numbers for the Conec M8 and M12 connectors begin with the SAL prefix. SAL connectors are used in many applications in automation engineering. In addition to the transmission of analogous and digital signals and data transmission with high bandwidth, the application as supply connector also counts amongst their fields of application.

Connector Options
Overmoulded M8 and M12 connectors
CONEC currently offers various pre-assembled cable lengths of the processed PUR cable with the stranded wire cross sections 4x2xAWG26. The UL listed cable has an S/FTP twisted pair construction and is suitable for temperatures in dynamic and static environments from -40°C to +80°C.
The prefix is SAL-8 for M8 and SAL-12 for M12.
Field Attachable M8 and M12 Connectors
Conec M8 and M12 connectors are used in many different applications such as in industrial and transportation applications for sensor/actuator cabling as well as for BUS systems. The M12 and M8 are reliable, flexible and robust components that are easy to assemble even in the field.
Conec’s product range covers both straight and angled field attachable M12 connectors with screw termination. The M12 connectors are available as A-, B- and D-coded version.
The very compact and lightweight design is ideal for applications with limited space.
The prefix is SAL-8 for M8 and SAL-12 for M12.
M8 and M12 Sockets
The sockets are available in different numbers of poles up to 12 poles. Variants are available for both front and rear panel mounting.
In addition to the wire and solder pin straight termination types, the portfolio also includes sockets for the SMT or THR soldering methods. Insulating bodies are available in 3-, 4-, 5- and 8-pos. Four different housing types (2x front, 2x rear panel mounting) in various heights are selectable.
In addition to A- and B-coded 4-, 5- and 8-pos. variants in shielded and unshielded versions male and female, the portfolio also includes the X-coded female variant for high-speed data transmission up to 10 GBit/s in the industrial environment.
The prefix is SAL-8 for M8 and SAL-12 for M12.
