Mains cables and Power cords are available in bulk, shipped in boxes or on pallets from Jacarem. They are terminated with IEC connectors and are available in standard configurations including:
- UK mains leads (the most well known is the UK kettle lead)
- Euro Power Cords
- USA Power Cords
- & other worldwide mains cables and power cords.
AC power plugs and sockets connect electric equipment to the alternating current (AC) power supply in buildings and at other sites. Electrical plugs and sockets differ from one another in voltage and current rating, shape, size, and connector type. Different standard systems of plugs and sockets are used around the world.
Some of the most common types of IEC Connectors:
- C1 Found on many electric shavers for example.
- C5 “Clover-leaf” or “Mickey Mouse” connector due to it’s shape.
- C7 ‘Figure of Eight’ or right angle figure of eight.
- C13 Straight and Right Angle, often referred to as a “kettle cord”.
- C15 ‘Hot condition’ for use in high temperature settings.
- C19 straight and Right Angle
Non-standard lengths and configurations are available on request. The standard colour sold is black but we can also offer white and grey variants.
