Epoxy Seal

The liquid cooling hermetic connector seals are achieved using epoxy resin.  Epoxy seals offer advantages to both ceramic feedthroughs and glass feedthroughs and they are frequently used to solve design challenges that can’t be addressed easily with glass or ceramic seals.  Epoxy seals can be routed through tight spaces and angles, frequently allowing us to solve design challenges that can’t be addressed easily with glass seals or ceramic seals.  Epoxy seals can effectively seal gases and fluids, including helium gas with very low helium gas rates, making them a popular option in fiber optic and electrical hermetic seals.  Epoxy seals have excellent resistance to oils and gasoline, so epoxy seals are the perfect choice for aerospace, energy and automotive industries too.

Testing Liquid Cooling Hermetic Seals

Every hermetic connector seal goes through the same rigorous testing to ensure top quality products are guaranteed.  They all are dimensionally checked, continuity tested, hipot tested and go through a helium leak test.
